• Prepare and implement compelling content for print, digital, social, and multimedia platforms that highlights Scouts, their connection with community, and the impact of their shared experiences.
• Ensure marketing communication has a lens of equity, inclusion, accessibility, and follows BSA branding, priorities, and standards.
• Coordinate, design, and produce materials, including print and collateral, for multi-channel distribution, including but not limited to fund development events, membership events, and program activities.
• Collaborate with staff on developing program-specific communications materials.
• Coordinate regular website maintenance to ensure content is current, accurate and clear.
• Implement a standardized format and schedule for regular communications to donors.
• Assess the success of communications approach and materials.
• Increase awareness of the impact of Scouting through powerful, overt, and active storytelling.
• Additional duties as assigned.

High School diploma; BS in Marketing or relevant field is an advantage.

• Proven experience in marketing and design; one to three years preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Self-motivated individual with solid time management skills and strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional writing, presentation, and story-telling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and adapt written, electronic, media, and mobile communications channels.
• Knowledge of WordPress, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and MailerLite or equivalent a plus.
• Must be willing to accept and meet the Boy Scout of America’s leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law. (Information on this may be found at www.scouting.org)
• A Scouting background is helpful but not required for employment.
